The Arkansas Wheat Promotion Board has worked since its inception in 1985 to develop and maintain a viable research and promotion program. The research program is conducted mainly through the University of Arkansas. The Board is a member of U.S. Wheat Associates, the national export market development orgainzation; The Wheat Foods Council, the domestic market development organization; and the Wheat Export Trade Education Committee, which focuses on trade policy issues.
